In the second week of mourning after my mother's passing, I found myself overwhelmed with sorrow and memories. Despite the pain not having subsided, it had only grown more intense as I reflected on our time together. I decided to write a eulogy for my mother, 'Mother's Elegy,' in an attempt to process my emotions and honor her memory.As we celebrated the Spring Festival, also known as the Dragon Festival, the atmosphere was filled with joy and prosperity. However, under the light of the full moon, dark clouds gathered, foreboding a sense of ill omen.In this state of unease, I couldn't help but worry about my mother's fate beyond the veil of life and death. As I stood by her bedside, surrounded by loved ones, it was difficult to come to terms with her impending departure.My anxiety was palpable as I struggled to cope with the thought of losing her. The pain of parting from my mother felt like a knife to the heart, leaving me breathless and tearful.In my grief, I remembered how my mother had always been there for me, providing comfort and support whenever I needed it. Despite her small stature, she was a giant in my eyes, with a spirit that couldn't be broken.Her unwavering dedication to our family's well-being was an inspiration to us all, and her integrity and kindness would be remembered for generations to come. As the night wore on and the stars hid behind dark clouds, I felt a sense of shared sorrow with the universe, as if we were all mourning together. Even in my despair, I knew that I wasn't alone, and that my loved ones were there to support me through this difficult time. The memory of my mother's love and legacy would stay with me forever, a testament to the enduring power of family and the human spirit.
