您!该走进贺兰山Enjoying nature, Heilanshan National Nature Reserve is located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Alashan League, Aershan Left Banner. It belongs to the western slope of Heilanshan Mountain, with a total length of about 120 kilometers and a width of about 8-30 kilometers. The reserve has a total area of 88500 hectares. The highest peak is Ebohuoda, with an elevation of 3556.1 meters. Heilanshan Natural Reserve has 6060 hectares of natural secondary forest, with a forest coverage rate of 45.7%. The main tree species are Qinghai spruce, Pinus sibirica and Fraxinus chinensis. The vegetation is complex and diverse, and there are many unique plant communities. The vegetation coverage rate is 80%, making it a collection place for Mongolian, Northeastern, Qingzang Plateau, and other plant resources, as well as a treasure trove of natural genetic resources. There are 788 species of vascular plants in the reserve, including five national key protected plants. There are 352 species of vertebrates, including seven national first-class protected animals, 51 second-class protected animals, and seven national first-class protected animals. Therefore, Heilanshan has become one of China's six major biodiversity centers, and the only biodiversity center in northern China. In 1993, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government approved the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Heilanshan National Nature Reserve Management Bureau. In 1995, it joined the China Human-Biosphere Network of Protected Areas.
