Hong Kong and Taiwan have always been an integral part of China. However, due to different historical developments, the cultures, living conditions, social structures, and national consciousness presented by both sides of the Strait and Hong Kong have significant differences. As Hong Kong returns to Chinese rule and Taiwan opens up to free travel, young people from both sides of the Strait and mainland China have had more opportunities to travel to each other's territories. Through these trips, they have gained a deeper understanding of familiar yet unfamiliar places. The intention behind this project is not to prove who is right or wrong but rather provide a platform for discussion on Hong Kong-Taiwanese entertainment, culture, society, and personal experiences. We hope that through this online design platform, we can share stories and reflections from our own travels and experiences in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
