About my past and present. Four major publications of the Republic of China, Sichuan University's 'Sunday' magazine is a publication that has been around for nearly a century. It was first published in 1919 during the May Fourth period, when the youth of China's Chengdu branch was established. The publication's purpose was to spread new ideas and promote cultural movements in backward Sichuan. During the May Fourth period, 'Sunday' was on par with 'Weekly Review', 'Shanghai Review', and 'Hsiang River Review'. It has been revived in 2006 during the summer, after a long hiatus. By opening up 'Sunday', one can see that it's just a magazine's distance away from us.
