Russian Far Eastern Federal University is the most ancient and largest comprehensive university in the Russian Far East. The new campus is located on Russky Island, which has the most advanced teaching and living facilities, and the most beautiful scenery. The university was founded by the Imperial Russian Academy of Sciences in 1899.
