In conjunction with ACCV 2016, Taipei, Taiwan, November 20-24, 2016 Workshop on Benchmark and Evaluation of Surveillance Task (BEST) Smart/Intelligent video surveillance technology plays the central role in the emerging smart city systems. Recent advances in computer vision, such as deep learning, multi-modal analysis, large-scale spatio-temporal analysis, have shown great potential for some high level applications. The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government agencies to present state-of-the-art methods and tools for benchmarking and evaluating surveillance tasks.
